JoAnne and Ralph went to a party in honor of the 90th birthday of Major General Donald Strait, USAF Retired. The party was held in the Grand Ballroom at National and was attended by over 60 persons. Don spent 30 years in the Air Force starting in 1943. He was a fighter pilot — one of the best — based in England with 13 1/2 "kills" over Europe. He later fought in Korea during that war. He is a wonderful gentleman and JoAnne and Ralph are proud to claim him as a friend.
