I received a phone call last night from the Barack Obama headquarters here in Southern Pines, asking if I would be willing to canvas local neighborhoods prior to next Tuesday's North Carolina Democratic primary. "Well, of course I would", I told the caller and went on to say that any door I knock on whose resident is voting for Hillary, I would tie up until after the primary. Anyway, next Monday, between 12 noon and 4PM, I am off to help Obama. Uncle Jerry, want to join me?
