Mary, Ben and Jenna arrived at RDU on the same flight Saturday afternoon. Mary, Ben and Karen went directly to the breeder from whom R & J got Barkley and adopted an 18 month old female Golden whose parents had returned her when they were transferred to Hong Kong where she would have had to be quarantined for six months. After a few false starts they named her Layla. Despite the name, you can see from her picture that she is not black. Sunday evening Barkley took JoAnne and Ralph to the Finegold's for dinner and a chance to romp with his new buddies.
