OK, so I got an eagle! Pretty exciting, especially if you know the hole. It is National' s signature hole - Cornerstone. Hole #5, par four over the stone wall and creek. I had a great drive and took out my hybrid to try to go for the green. Perfect shot, right at the pin, just a bit long. But, no problem. A helpful bank behind the green acted as my backboard. The ball just rolled easily back onto the green and disappeared into the cup! Unfortunately, I got an 8 on number 6. Such is golf.
